Where is the Charlestown Hillclimb?

Charlestown Hillclimb is the steep Charlestown Street right-of-way between S. Courtland Place and 37th Ave. S in Southeast Seattle. The Hillclimb provides pedestrian access to shopping and buses on Rainier Avenue and recreation on Lake Washington. Map

Who are the Friends of Charlestown Hillclimb?

We are neighbors from the hilltop and the valley who have joined together in an informal group to develop and maintain the Hillclimb. We are seeking volunteers to help plant the hillside in Oct. and Nov. 2013.

We get together to weed and keep up the Hillclimb on the Hillclimb every 4th Saturday from 10 am-noon, March through Oct. Please join us.

All it takes to become a Friend of Charlestown Hillclimb is your interest and participation.
